I wrote this song for someone I loved very much who was going through a hard time. No matter how I looked at the situation, I always saw that the person was fine - and was coming through with flying colors.
Years later the song took on a deeper meaning, as I struggled and faced challenges. Often in my darkest moments, I would hear this song sung to me.
My experience in life is that we are so loved - & that, as we walk through this life, all of creation is loving us - every rock, every tree, the wind, the water... We are so very loved and so magnificent.
I pray that all Being know how loved they, how dear they are and how cherished they are by the Universe - and that, as we know this, we know this to be true of each and every being on this Earth - and we no longer harm one another, but choose to meet each other with compassion, care and the deepest Love...
lyrics
I see flowers bloom. I see blue skies too. I see the grass so green. I see you. I see the stars that shine. I see the moon at night. I see the ocean blue. I see you.
I see you.
I see the turtle doves who cry their songs of love. I see the wiggly worm who climbs into the Earth. I see the sun that shines. I see the rain, divine. I see the Love that shines in you. Through the dark clouds of gray, through the wintery haze, through the fires that burn you down, you’re as clear as a bell and your Soul shows all well, ‘cause I see you.
You bring the mistletoe. You’re the icing, oh. &, of course, you’re the cherry on top. You’re the sparkle of my eye and my Love ‘cause I see you.
